CFI-G and Badges, racing by glider[_2_]
Just for fun, I wonder how many CFI-G types have Gold Badges with Diamonds? How many instructors compete? I would think that an active instructor is not the same chap that goes for long flights or gets involved with competition. I'll bet it takes a different mind-set to want to...

Canopy Closing Problem by [email protected]

Seniors Thursday Prepractice 2006 USA #711 reporting by [email protected]
It was good today, we had clouds, 6 kt climbs and many had fun, with good flights. XX, DB, 7U, DUO, JOY, RC, GV, RS, R9,and others flew. Many had long runs with cloud streets looking like West Texas. Had only a few outlandings, a slide on the grass, ya, someone forgot gear, and Seminole is pretty...

Ventus 2C Winglets by Ventus2NZ
Hi all Has anyone fitted winglets to the 18M tips on a Ventus 2C? I heard this may have been done in Europe, any information greatly appreciated. I would even look at getting some Maughmer winglets designed and mod approved if I had enough interest from other Ventus 2C owners.
