Rear Seat Scoring by
Bob Youngblood
I happen to be looking at some OLC scoring and noticed that there were rear seat ride along customers scoring flights on OLC as if they were the PIC. Is there any provision for making sure that the ride along is not permitted to score the flight as if they were the primary scoring individual.

I can't recall whether this...

If enclosed, the minimum interior height must be 48" from floor to ceiling at wing root and 46" at canopy point. Post info...

Howling sound when flying by
Armand Charbonneau
My Ventus 2c makes a howling sound when flying at 0 flap setting. It is significantly less noticeable immediately after changing the flap setting either positive or negative. Pilots tell me they can hear it when flying overhead or landing. I can hear it seemingly behind me, inside the cockpit. ...

Some LiFePO4 Battery Testing Results Manual and Automated by
John DeRosa OHM Ω http://aviation.derosaweb.net
Every year I test my two LiFePO4 batteries to gauge how long they will last during a flight. I decided to open the field a bit and also tested some soaring friend's batteries.
You can read about my simple cheap manual process (later automated - see below) here ...

Flight manual format by
JS[_5_]
Just noticed that European flight manuals share the same format.
No, they aren't called a POH.
For example, DG1000S, Duo Discus and ASH26E manuals all have airspeed indicator markings in section 2.3. Handy.
