Tool Question??? by
Paul
I'm looking for an adapter with a 3/8--24 thread on one end and a 1/4--28
thread on the other. This would allow me to use a standard Jacobs chuck on
my right angle drill. Surely some one must sell such a device. Since I
retired, I no longer have easy access to a lathe so I must now go tool
hunting....

What makes a quality mic? by
John T
What makes a quality microphone in a headset? somethat that doesn't pick
up the cockpit noise, but still transmits your voice clearly?
I've got a project in mind that would require such a microphone. I
thought of using the parts from a reconditioned headset, but I'd like to
get some...

Fuel-Injected Continental O-200 by
Calvin R. Walker
Has anyone put a fuel-injection system on an O-200? If so, what are the
results? You're probably wondering why. I was just curious about doing
this.

Water in our oil, or just alot of hot air? by
[email protected]
I just watched a program about the huge Oresund bridge between Denmark
and Sweden, and there was a segment about how the corrosion problem for
the bridge was dealt with. Instead of painting, they use sealed
compartments that have the air humidity kept below 60%. This they said
eliminates...

Can someone ID this airplane?
http://www.abpic.co.uk/photo/1093439/
No, not the gyro in front of it, the plane behind the gyro with the
twin boon. Three brownie point to the first enthusiast able to ID
this plane.
Thanks,
Wil

oil leak question by
Dick
My Continental 85 is leaking oil and appears to be from pushrod tubes and
valve covers. It is on an experimental plane.
While I can cure the one leaking valve cover, the pushrod tubes have those
heavy "wirecircles with two tangs" over the rubber end fittings. Some tubes
are leaking at bottom and...

An "exhaustive" internet search regarding the 0-290G has left me with

conversion guide years back that would be very helpful. In the mean
time, I am hoping some of you out there can answer any of the

I have just started to assemble my wings on my all wood aircraft. There
is a box spar in the front and a 3/4" thick spar in the back. Although
this will no dought hold together, it only calls for 1 diagnal brace on
each wing. I glued temperary
diagnal braces on the inside to hold while I start to...
