Survival Kits by
[email protected]
In another thread had seen some back and forth without pushing the envelope much so I figured I'd pull the pin, thumb the clip, release the spoon and make a regular f))king party of it.
I honestly don't know **** about the useful load of a paraglider. If I planned to fly one, I'd find out. But I...

LS4 Ballast Dump Valve Seats by
Hypo Thebai
Hi;
We need to replace the dump valve seat in an LS4. This is the seat that forms the seal. The originals seem to have been made by Georg Fischer (+GF+) for a valve they no longer make. I believe that the +GF+ part number was 161 483 260. From my present understanding +GF+ cannot supply this...

Flatlanders should explore R4S @ BRSS New Castle, VA Site by
[email protected]
Dear Flatlanders,
Last year, I had the privelege of flying in the R4 South contest in New Castle, VA, spanning over the 3rd week of September. I had little to no previous ridge flying experience, and was even cautioned by one top ranked pilot not to fly here. I'm glad I didn't listen. While this...

How many 300s, 500s or diamond heights have you done?
We all do these tasks maybe many many times, but would it be nice if say

Maybe a diamond with some scrambled egg underneath the badge or say for
300s and 500s maybe ...

I had a blue confor foam pad in the seatpan of my my glider. I landed in Cordele right before a massive rainstorm, so the inside of the cockpit got wet.
The foam sat wet for two weeks and got moldy/mildue and smelly.
Do you know of any way to clean it?
By its very nature it is very porous so the...
