Experimental Russian jet by Legal Tender
When I was a kid (appox 1957) I got a model of a Russian Jet. I ran many searches on the net but can't find anything on it. I don't remember the designation, but I think it was a Yak. Yes I ran 4 Yak sites that came up. The Jet had a nose like the F-86D, swept wings with a high sweeping tail. The...

True Wisdom by Leslie Swartz
O.K., Art, you gave it your best shot- and it was a dud. You lied about "Bush Lying About WMD." Any other examples of "Bush Lying?" Care to trot out the "Bush Lied About Niger Yellowcake?" Or "Bush Lied About Iraqi Terrorist Training Camps?" Didn't think so.

World War Two Era U.S. Radial Engines (Curtiss and Pratt&Whitney) by Lincoln Brown
Okay, online flightsim question time. Did the Curtiss or P&W Radial engines rotate on a mount and spin the propellor like their WWI predecessors or were they fixed and drove a propellor shaft? I've seen WWI Era fighters with the engine exposed and the cylinders spin, but all the WWII aircraft the...

New novel and it's a good one by Lone Eagle
Just read a very good novel by Homer Hickam (October Sky). Titled The Keeper's Son.. Lots of adventure and romance. A great book to curl up in your chair with a cup of hot chocolate and just enjoy. Stephen Coonts says it's great, too. Set on the Outer Banks during WWII.
