Dan,

We operated two DHC Dash 7's and two Shorts 360's on the 129
Certificate also we had six LET 410's on the Haitian Cert. It was an
adventure of epic portions.

When I was flying for Trans Air Link, there was an outfit with a 727
that was a flying hazard to navigation. We had to go around once (in a
DC-6!) once when they decided to back taxi on the runway, rather than go
to the end and take the diagonal taxiway.

It was funny, the flight I often worked was "Skytruck 50", from Miami to
Port of Prince. We had a departure time that was the same as the Haitian
727, but they were always so late departing that we would often arrive
in our DC-6's BEFORE they did!
