clubs/chapters with a pulse and club provincialism.

Jumped over this. I call it club provincialism. Clubs are often
hesitant to talk about their business openly, though as non-profit
organizations, their business is a matter of public record. We'd like
someone to talk or write about their IRS audit or review. We'd like
clubs to discuss their choke points, be it towing, financials,
instructors, airport access (part of this year's club track at the
convention), success stories, fleet problems, insurance, NIMBY
problems, how do we best co-exist with commercial operators to the best
advantage of both? How else are we going to learn from the successes
and mistakes of others?
