Default The "newest" Col. Potter. LOL

Wow! I didn't realize my post would create such discussion.

The mission of the United States Corps of Chaplains is --

to provide ministerial support and services to communities, families,
and individuals and all possible assistance in response to disasters of any
type;

to provide military honors and assistance to active military personnel,
veterans, and their families;

to promote patriotism in the community;

to defend the Constitution of the United States of America;

to uphold and defend the Bill of Rights, seen as unalienable, given by
God to free men that they might remain free;

to ensure that all citizens, regardless of race, color, religion, sex,
physical characteristics, or national origin, shall have the right and
opportunity to practice their religion as established and guaranteed by that
document which guides this great nation.

Some of our Chaplains are American Red Cross certified Instructors and some
have even received training from the Federal Emergency Management Agency
(FEMA). Law Enforcement as well as some Forensic Chaplains volunteer with
our organization. We have offered our services to post-Katrina efforts and
to the Crash of Flight 5191 in Lexington, KY. We also have some Chaplains
on active duty.

We do not require ordination, however, for the award of the title,
"Chaplain," verified ordination is required. We need Recruiters, Chaplain
Assistants, Personnel Officers, Administrative Officers, Disaster
Responders, YOU!!! With the current outlook for tornados, drought, forest
fires, and a very busy hurricane season, let us remember the Commonwealth of
Kentucky's motto, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall."

If you or anyone you know are interested in becoming a member of an
organization dedicated to nurturing the living, caring for the dying, and
honoring the dead, please feel free to contact us at: www.uscochq.com, or by
emailing Chaplain (Colonel) Lonnie J. Potter, National Recruiting
Coordinator, at or by writing: USCOC, P. O. Box
390, Clanton, AL 35046.
