Finding the small polyp with a sigmoidoscopy should lead you to the decision
for the 'full' colonoscopy -- there may be more polyps. A good friend of
mine didn't opt for the full colonoscopy after the Dr found a polyp with a
sigmoidoscopy -- his outlook with the colon cancer 4 years later is not
good.
