Yes, I agree wholeheartedly. The VA gave me the option of the easy way
or the full Monty which I chose. My primary care doc explained that the
Sigmoidoscopy can "miss things". When it comes to wearing a colostomy
bag, I would just as soon not have them "miss" anything even if it is
only peanuts.

I am thankful they found nothing of interest. My dad had worse luck many
years back to the point they ended up hacking out half of his colon.
