Hi James,
The 302 and 302A support up to 1500 waypoints.
I don't think there is a way to change the output NMEA sentences.
Below is a data capture from a 302. The 302 send similar data, but no wind
or airspeed data. I believe the !w sentence is not sent by the 302A. It
contains the 302 air data.
!w,000,000,0000,500,01287,01020,-0668,191,199,191,000,000,100*44

$GPRMB,V,,,Stanton ,,4308.8388,N,09300.9833,W,,,*47

I created an Excel spreadsheet a while back that compares the data output
from a 302 and 302A. I'd be glad to e-mail it to you if you send me a note
asking for it.

I thought this would be simple, but I can't find the answers in the
manual.
1. How many turnpoints can I load into the memory (not the task, but
the turnpoint file)?
2. What NMEA sentences are output to the serial port?
3. Not that I will do it, but can I change the data output to NMEA
sentences other than the default?
Questionable minds want to know.....
