Default Still towing at 90

Wurtsboro Airport's Chief Tow Pilot Dick Padgett recently celebrated his 90th Birthday and still flies almost every day. One of our glider pilots made a nice video tribute for his Birthday Party:

Many pilots have been towed by Dick over the years, if you were one of them feel free to post a message here and I will make sure Dick sees it. You can also mail him at:

Wurtsboro Airport
ATTN: Dick Padgett
PO Box 129
Wurtsboro, NY
12790

Be sure to say hi and wish him a Happy Birthday next time you stop by Wurtsboro Airport!

Congrats Dick. I remember your distinctive metro accent over the radio back in the 70's flying out of Cooperstown-Westville AP. You are an inspiration to all us old pilot farts. I'm 82 & hope I can still be flying at ninety. God bless! I liked the cigar. lol

Pass on a "Happy Birthday" from me as well. I've had tows from H\him during the regionals there as well as the "aero retrieves" to the drive-in south of the ridge to glide home.
