With an ever-increasing number of unmanned aerial vehicles aloft, it seems likely that a collision is inevitable, at least until machine vision and avoidance systems are perfected...has it already happened? Are there any near misses on record?

Perhaps a proactive effort to avoid such events. http://www.faasafety.gov/SPANS/event...aspx?eid=15393 There have been two meetings the last few months and from GA pilot reviews I've heard, they're quite interesting. -- Message posted via AviationKB.com http://www.aviationkb.com/Uwe/Forums...ation/200706/1 |
