"I don't think a student can solo in self-launch under the SSA Group Plan."
That has been my experience. I bought a Pipistrel Sinus with the intention of teaching my wife to fly in it. Is there any trick to locating a motorglider/instructor other than a Google search? (Austin, TX area) I seem to be one of the few motorglider instructors. Bring your ship to me, and I'll give you all the training you need or we can work out something and I'll come to you over a long weekend? Cheers, Roderick |
