Hi Paul - ActiveSync offers a "guest" connection (versus the "partnership" connection) when you plug in a PDA, so you don't have to set up connections to every PDA that is used with with the desktop. Just a matter of clicking on the Guest button and it connects you so File Explorer can access the PDA. No file synchronization is done, but you don't want any! The contestant needs to bring a USB cable that matches his device, unless the scorer is really well set up.
