I hope you take the time to call Burt. A local pilot/cfi thought it was going to be a breeze to take the 25 question test. He was a fairly new pilot to gliders and wasn't very well versed in terminology and specifics dealing with lift sources, etc.

You don't say how long you've been flying gliders, but the short test is not necessarily easy. Nor is the practical test.

It was the only - of 10 - that I aced. One thing that is pretty convoluted, and in practice ignored everywhere I go, is the towline/weaklink strength reg.
