I dunno - there is always Jack Currie

who loved low flying - usually in Halifaxes and Mosquitos.

His books are worth reading: especially 'Lancaster Target', 'Mosquito
Victory' and 'Wings Over Georgia', which all deal with much more than
just wartime operations.
