Having never been to OSH or Airventure, I think it's going to be cool to
see what everyone's been talking about. I've read so many things about it, I feel almost like I've been there. Well, Trent, when you're standing at Friar Tuck's, gaze at the control tower, waaaaay off in the distance to the southeast. Now picture the flight line going just as far SOUTH of that tower as you are standing north of it. Now imagine walking that distance. Every day. For a week. Sometimes more than once. And it's ALL full of airplanes... By the sixth day, the aches all merge into kind of an overall dull throb. But I wouldn't be anywhere else in the world, the last week of July... ;-) Have fun! -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |
