Anyone know if it's accessible by GA aircraft?

From Google:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?C3EC139F6

In a nutshell, one of the FBO's at Dulles (Signature) will provide a shuttle
to the museum.

Sounds like Rons says it ain't so...

Does anyone else find it appallingly ironic that many (most?) of the big
aviation museums are not accessible by aircraft?

Here is a trip for you to plan, Jay.
Hamilton Ontario, Canadian Warbird Heritage Museum.
Motel 8 at the east end of the field with a decent pub type restaurant
next to it. FBO at the west end with a Tom Horton's next to it.

Sounds good!

What's a "Tom Horton's"?

I think he meant Tim Horton's and I believe it's a donut shop.

Hey, the "i" and the "o" are next to each other on the keyboard and a
spell checker wouldn't have caught it the way you guys do.
TIM Horton's also sells fresh deli sandwiches and soup.
They do a big business selling coffee.
They have been a part of the WENDY's chain since the mid-/late-1990's.
You can find Wendy's/Tim Horton stores colocated.

Yes --doubly so because this place is located adjacent to an airport.

I think the Smithsonian could have a wonderful annual event if they'd
merely sponsor a fly-in of some sort. Of course, we private aviators
are so politically incorrect these days, that maybe they think we
should all just walk around the museum and forget how so many of the
gee whiz aircraft of yesteryear came to be...
