I spent my pilot youth ferrying these fine airplanes from Lock Haven to Washington. Oregon, Alaska. The float on a wire is on a J3, Taylorcraft, Aeronca, usually on a forward fuselage tank. Super Cub tanks are in the wings. Karl |
