Probably an over-controlling problem Max has been flying the Luscombe for quite a while now. He does air tests and all sorts of things in small planes. He's not just a "heavy iron" type. There was a 90 degree crosswind at the time. I didn't see it happen but helped recover the aircraft to the hangar. I think it was just one of those things. And yes, it's a beautiful plane. It's won best Luscombe at one show, best foreign made aircraft at another, maybe some others. It's kept in the hangar and never goes out in the rain! Paul |
