I called the FSS and they'd informed me that they'd called the tower who had confirmed my landing and thus the plan had been closed. I felt like a complete ass. How big a deal is this? Not very big if you land at an airport with a tower. I'm afraid to ask anybody at my FBO. The FBO will never know as the first call from FSS will always be to the tower. If there is no tower then they will call the FBO. I'm not gonna get a letter am I?? Nope, you'll never hear another thing about it. |
