Damn, that's down right affordable in aviation terms. The lesser
expensive one is cheaper than my prop cable (including shipping)!

Although I am thrilled with the performance of the system, there are
some flaws. The platform, for instance. A laptop in a light aircraft
cabin is a pain to handle and must have an exceptionally bright display
to be readable. I have a little Sony Vaio with their Xbrite screen. It
works great but therein lies another problem: a super bright display
eats the battery up fast. I can't plug the laptop into the cigar
lighter because it would put the circuit over the breaker limit - my
portable GPS and the WxWorx receiver are already using it - so I've
ordered an external, large capacity battery.
