Ah, baloney. A gazillion people all in the shower at the same time and
$5 beers. Me thinks not. Give me a runway in a designated wilderness

That's pretty much how I feel. I don't like big crowds whether they are pilots
or not.

That's the truly nice part of OSH -- because the grounds are so huge, the
crowds are NOTHING compared to a Big Ten or pro football game.

I hate crowds too, but I never feel oppressed at OSH.

I third that opinion. I can't see myself putting up with the crowds at
OSH. I've enjoyed myself at Sun-n-Fun, but I decided that's the most
crowded I'd ever want to endure. In addition, unless I can stay in a nice
air conditioned hotel within a short distance of the show, then I'm not
interested... airplanes or not.

Well, my son and I have never waited for a shower at OSH -- not even once.
That's 14 years in a row.

And the beers are priceless -- since they don't sell beer on the field.
(Off-field, they start at two bucks for Bud, if you call that "beer"...)

If you love airplanes, OSH is heaven. You can go fishing any time.
