Heico,
Don't carry anything that might make you look like a CIA or DOD spy. Laos is still a very shy and cautious country when it comes to foreigners (and who can blame them?) People still end up 'missing' or jailed for poking in the wrong places. Regards, Heico Better safe than sorry. There are still activities, although small, as recent as a few months ago. I think things are a little better lately. Laos recently received their NTR status.
