I don't believe there's any uniform penalty - it seems to vary from one
incident to another.

Let's hope you catch them on a day when they're in a good mood.

Does anyone know what the penalty is for busting a Presidential TFR?
I've talked with a controller and AOPA and their opinions are pretty
varied...Don't ask why I want to know this, it's embarassing!

I heard one conversation on guard over Maine where the AF was telling a
plane "small aircraft traveling heading 120 near xxx leave the area
immediately and call the FAA, you have just entered a presidental flight
restricted area"

I wonder if they called? The station identified itself as Air Force, but
didn't seem much interested in tracking the intruder, just getting them out
of the area.
