I'm not a pilot (or in any area of aviation) but I've felt that
the FAA has been going down for some time, along with their leadership.
I'm sure you're aware of some of the friction that has existed between
the FAA and the NTSB over some safety issues. But the PC milksops here
will tell you that this is PROGRESS!
