Well there are those that invest their money and buy cheaper gliders and die
rich and happy, and then there are those that blow it all on new gliders and die broke and happy. "BMacLean" wrote in message ... I was believing it until you said he flew an LS-3. With all his money?!? No way. Barb 18 "Liam Finley" wrote in message om... Pete Smith wrote in message ... I heard Arnie flew gliders (sorry sailplanes) esp the LS6 Actually, this is true. I hear him on the radio frequently. He flies somewhere out of southern california and uses the call sign "Juliet Tango" if memory serves. I think he flies an LS-3 though, because it has a wider cockpit. |

I don't think Arnold Alphabet has to worry about saving money on a glider.

I believe that the late Larry Linville was a glider pilot. He was known to
most as Major Burns on MASH. Paul Fuller "Pete Smith" wrote in message ... I heard Arnie flew gliders (sorry sailplanes) esp the LS6 anyone know if this is true? or of other mega celeb type glider pilots. |

Richard Bach actually spent several months in the late 70's camped at
Airsailing in a large trailer. I took a picture of Dale Dye's daughter standing next to him. "soarski" wrote in message om... Don't forget! RICHARD BACH I think he actually flew in a standard Nationals in Arizona about 23 years ago! Marana |
