1. a travelling snake oil/flying wing salesman.
2. a racist metal grinder/Schweizer afficianado.
3. a Minden Zero who needs to buy a new glider every 6 months to
impress his friends.

Sorry, I only grind when I need extreme precision, nothing in a glider
counts there.

not racist either, just can't stand egotistical krauts. My granfather
may have been born in Bremen, but he had the good sense to get the
hell out of krautland. (He didn't allow german used in his house
either, "Ve are Americans now, Ve Vill speak English." Fast way to
get a knot on your head was to use german in his house.) Point of
pride in our family, Gramps deserted from the Kaisers guard.

But I finally got to see the grob 103SL fly two weeks ago. It's rare
that it's not in the hangar being worked on. Ground hog is the best
description. 2000 feet of runway to get a foot high?
