I put a quick and dirty diagram of the rotating guillotine on my website:
www.mymedtrans.com/personal.htm After looking at the diagram, I realize there is no need to bore out the inside of the barrel because when it rotates it presents a sharp cutting edge to the rope. My guess is that it would work just fine with Spectra. Jim Vincent N483SZ illspam
