Personally, I really don't want to drag more stuff around. Well, I'll have the lapdog with me anyway because I need to unload my pictures every night, and my iPod is too old to use that Belkin device that allows you to unload a CF card to the iPod. So while I've got it, I might as well get some use out of it. -- Paul Tomblin http://xcski.com/blogs/pt/ If Microsoft made your letter box, all some one would have to do is write "Burn the house down" on a piece of paper and post it through the door, and your house would go up in flames. - David Ruck |

Well, I'll have the lapdog with me anyway because I need to unload my
pictures every night We used to drag our laptop to OSH, until we found a service on the field (run by the aerobatic or classics guys -- I forget now, although I could walk your right to their building) that will transfer your pictures onto a CD-ROM for a nominal donation -- I think it was five bucks -- to their cause. It saves the hassle (and worry) of packing a laptop, *and* it helps a group of pilots support their addiction. Of course, san disks are so cheap now, I suppose I could just buy another hand full of them... -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |

I mean, if you are going to publish them or print 8 by 10's, OK, but, wow, 14 raw? I don't have the rig(I'll take it off your hands for you g), and I'm not you, but I don't see the need. Well, somebody at work offered to loan it to me, and I jumped at the chance. I'm hoping this year I'll be able to borrow one of the newer DSLRs, like maybe the Minolta with the built-in image stabilizer. I mean, if you are going to publish them or print 8 by 10's, OK, but, wow, 14 raw? Hey, I had the camera, I had the microdrives, and I had a laptop to unload them onto. So why not?
