Can someone list the series of Oshkosh start day changes over the last 10
years? I've lost track. Have we arrived back where we started? KB "Jack Allison" wrote in message ... Jay Honeck wrote: Nope, EAA is the culprit. By moving the whole danged show schedule up, we had to move the party up a day -- and *poof* -- there went Jim's entire week! In 1973, it started on a Wednesday and finished the following Tuesday (in my
admittedly senior brain's recollection). Jim "Ron Natalie" wrote in message ... Kyle Boatright wrote: Can someone list the series of Oshkosh start day changes over the last 10 years? I've lost track. My first Oshkosh was 12 or 13 years ago and it started on Friday. |

Didn't the convention used to be eight days long? -- Jay Honeck Iowa City, IA Pathfinder N56993 www.AlexisParkInn.com "Your Aviation Destination" |

And we could still arrive after dark!
It was fun watching the string of landing lights 20-30 deep inbound. RST Engineering wrote: In 1973, it started on a Wednesday and finished the following Tuesday (in my admittedly senior brain's recollection). |

Approximately 10 minutes per 1/4-inch thickness at 425F.
Works for steaks, fish, chicken and pork. Depending on just how hot the grill is, the time can be adjusted 1 or 2 minutes either way. Jay Honeck wrote: Steaks? Did someone say "steaks"? I'm always up for steaks, although getting them cooked to everyone's liking is always a challenge. Jim, does that monster grill have a "steak setting"?? |

But it was not fun (or safe) trying to park those airplanes after
dark... The sunset "dead prop" rule is in effect for good reason! (although I hear people sneaking in or out on occasion).
