Actually, SpaceShip One takes a glider rating. Don't know about the
space shuttle. Government-owned vehicle...no FAA license required. UHHHH I think you mean military vehicle. Government vehicles still need license (both plane and pilot!). John And let's not forget that in this respect, comparisons with the space shuttle are irrelevant. The whole point of Spaceship One is that it is NOT a government vehicle. Does it qualify as a LSA though? Frank |
