Just curious how much "trickle-down" aviation there is among us? Dad was an Air Force fighter pilot so I claim that it's in the genes. So what if it took me until age 40 to get my PPL. :-) I'm 47 now, and plan to have either sport pilot or glider before I'm 53. Kind of a long time, but that is the best I can afford. I have an uncle that was a pilot, long ago, and my sister got her PP ticket, just for a challenge, I think. She was current for less than a year. Me? I LOVE anything mechanical. Ideally, I want to build my own design. That would be my biggest high. BFG -- Jim in NC |
