Weren't they started in Dallas at Love with T Allen McArtor as their CEO? According to their webpage, they started in 1980 as Charter One, based in Detroit. 1992 they changed the name to Spirit Airlines. In 1999 they moved to Miramar, FL. I googled T Allen McArtor, and it shows that he started Legend Airlines out of Love. Looks as though they shut down Dec, 2000. Okay, I had the right airport, wrong airline! I will let it slide... this time...  I had forgotten all about Legend Airlines...
