We (husband/wife) buy a man gift and a woman gift and then draw numbers
for order of selection. When its your turn, you can choose an unselected
item or choose to steal a previously selected item. The person who has
an item stolen can immediately steal something else or choose an
unselected item but can't choose the item stolen from them...

Makes it more interesting and fun for everyone. We put a $25 spending
limit per item and they can be something useful or a gag gift...

Google "White Elephant" you'll probably turn something up about this...
