Go no-go decision went bad. Oops.
"soxinbox" wrote in message ... At least he had the foresight to land gear up. That looks like an unusually long skid for a belly landing. I guess the snow lowered the ground drag. Yes, he handled the emergency well enough (or he got lucky). Of course, the whole situation was easily avoidable.
