![]() "DABEAR" wrote in message ups.com... These are the photos at Air Disaster.Com, a reference for Press covering Aviaiton Disasters. Air Disasters is nothing more than place where people can go to see planes crash. It is NOT a reference site for the press. |

Air Disaster.Com has been definitely utilized by a number of mainstream
and major press outlets, as it has advertised. It provides historic information in Almanac form that is reference for Journalists who in pursuit of a current accident, must refer back to related accidents and facts surrounding the same or connecting the two. I'm afraid that you are upset and expressing concern about the disturbing pictures ~ and who would blame you ~ as opposed to the fact that I as a Journalist, and others, research this site and others like it when writing about aircraft accidents, disaster, prevention, design, engineering, trends, etc. In our work, pictures don't always tell everything, the written facts, first hand observations, second hand observations, third hand observations, often tell more. Indeed we Press DO use Air Disaster.Com and the site is excellent for reference and leads. I view it as an all-encompassing hub for information that I can go to immediately for facts, as opposed to spending hours, if not days, pursuing searches and deep searches for similar information. Any searching I do after Air Disaster.Com, is usually streamlined and done quickly as a result. Errant leads eliminated in pursuit of essential facts. A story presented as an end result for timely reading by the public. |
