OK, this thread has gone to a different level, so I get to say that I
had the whole group "The Association" come to my appartment after a
college concert. It was a dare and they said yes. I got the album
autographed and got H*** for the school interfering with their events.
Apparently they had an after concert event planned. This was back in 66
or 67.

My only brush with celebrity came at Sikorsky Mem'l in Bridgeport CT
when I worked there in operations. Christopher Walken flew out to his
house on Block Island (RI) in a chartered Seneca V.

I was (Minnesota Gopher / Washington Redskins NFL - kicker) Chip
Lomiller's swimming teacher when I was in high school. That's it!

Forgot one:
Sally Struthers and I chatted at a party two years ago. She was in a
show I helped build.

One mo
Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart said "Hi" to me as we both waited on
the curb [for different rides] at the Hilton during last year's OSH, or
was it two years ago? I looked non-threatening I suppose, since I was
holding a bag of melting ice at the time.

[Necessary Aviation Content] ...Run in with a Star:
Burt Rutan last year at the Lindbergh Foundation Awards event at ANE.
Eric Lindbergh, too.

Montblack
Roger McGuinn (The BYRDS) signed a CD for me after we chatted.

GREAT FREE music site ...Jose (Click the song names)

I listen using an iPod program download on my PC computer - works with
fewer glitches than most other formats.

Whoa! That's cool!

Didn't they make the songs "Windy" and "Cherish"?

Hey, dang it, that's mine! Ford and Flockhart were eating breakfast at
the table next to ours, while my 15 year old son had conniptions,
realizing he was sitting RIGHT NEXT to "Han Solo"! (And I wouldn't let
him ask for an autograph...)

Oh, and I got to chat with Brett Favre at the Green Bay FBO in '04,
while he was waiting for his pilot and plane... (And, again, my
then-14-year-old son had conniptions, cuz I wouldn't let him ask for an
autograph!)

The most unusual thing in that story is that Calista Flockhart was eating.

So you haven't met anybody really important. *I*, on the other hand, have met
June Foray and Bill Scott. Top that.
