1B1 (Columbia County, NY) usually has good fuel prices, GPS approaches to
both ends of a big runway, and has an excellent restaurant within easy
walking distance. I haven't plotted it on a chart, but it seems like
should be sort of on the way from KS to ME.

I second that suggestion. The folks at the FBO are great. Courtesy car
to lots of nearby restaurants. It's been a stop along the way to OSH for
our family the last 5 years.

Interesting that this field is mentioned, KVPC... I will be going there
on Saturday to pick up a granddaughter...
