Larry,
You can't use the old group because it no longer exists. (See: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pik20sailplanes/) I would be surprised if Yahoo maintained the archive after deleting the group. Wayne Moderator Yahoo hp-gliders news group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hp-gliders/ "01-- Zero One" wrote in message . .. Why not just use the old newsgroup? Then there is no "transferring archives", etc. This doesn't make sense to me. Larry |

I see! Did someone just let it lapse? Or deliberately close it down?
I am a member of a couple of groups who get almost no postings and they have not been deleted. Just wondering, Larry "Wayne Paul" wrote in message : Larry, You can't use the old group because it no longer exists. ...I am a member of a couple of groups who get
almost no postings and they have not been deleted. The key word is "almost." The moderator gets a warning every 90 days or so that the group will be deleted unless someone posts. The moderator can keep the group alive by posting something. Bob K. |
