It certainly can be hard to compete against gov't funded airlines.
However, that just means that the citizens of that country have decided
that they would like to pay for people to fly around in their airline.
Sounds strange to me but if they want to pay for part of my flight, I'm
not going to argue. The Europeans did that for awhile too.
