and don't say "pump" as a foreigner (with a bad accent) when asked at the
security check. What kind of accent? Spell it phonetically? I'm imagining Inspecter Cluseau (sp?) from the Pink Panther. It would sound a bit like "bomb", with harder than normal "b"s. Jose -- "Never trust anything that can think for itself, if you can't see where it keeps its brain." (chapter 10 of book 3 - Harry Potter). for Email, make the obvious change in the address. |

They had discovered, he said awkwardly, an object on the plane that should not be there. He had notified the authorities at Ottawa airport, and they would handle the problem upon our arrival. ---snap http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...11211166&sid=1 ---snip So I walked up to the stewardesses, both clamoring over the handbook, and tapped one on the shoulder. "So, I had an iPod before I went to the bathroom, and now I don't. I think I know what's in the toilet." We had a quick conversation. I told them, "You don't have to call the TSA or anything, it's just my iPod." They said, "Oh, but we already did." So now I'm starting to realize that this is turning into a big problem. They offer their condolences, tell me that it's unfortunate, and I take a seat. Okay. So far, not so bad. I return to my seat and spend the rest of the flight trying to act normal. ---snap well ... scary ... #m -- Arabic T-shirt sparks airport row http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/5297822.stm I Am Not A Terrorist http://itsnotallbad.com/iamnotaterrorist/ |
