Why come to me when you can go to the source? ![]() He made no mention of any barograph or other recoding instrument to verify any accomplishment. http://www.aero-news.net/Community/D...1905&Refresh=1 The barograph is mentioned right there next to the altitude, Al. Didn't see it in the email. Are you sure you got that email from Jim? ![]() I can't tell you or I'd have to kill you. You have seen some of his email haven't you? Apparently I should be seeking legal council right now. Unhuh. Yeah, sure. I've got no big thing for zoom, generally he is harmless to the well informed. I have not said anywhere that his flight didn't occur. I have said that he is claiming a title he has not earned, and that I, as one who has earned the title, object. All I ask is that he remove reference to "World Record", and replace it with something more appropriate, say "Personal Best". I admit that sounds reasonable, if in fact the events are as you describe them. If an advisory board member of an aviation organization claimed to be a pilot and wasn't, would you correct him? In that we do agree. That too is easily verifiable, and there is but one recognized authority. You wouldn't accept someone's unofficial license, would you? Except for the fact that you can ask to be removed from public records that state you have a license. Go look up Jim in the FAA pilot database. He's not there, but he definitely has a pilot's license, I have seen it. Juan -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

Juan Well, the real questions is, with all these claims of him flying so many thousands of hours, is he actually using that license or are the hours faked... ....have you also seen his logbooks? Can he back up every flight claimed with his, own, written record? |

Come visit in person and see the record. Then talk to me about cowardice... And just the same, we've got to get the new masthead completed for all the sites, so I'll make sure to include as much of the record there as I can. Needs to be there anyway... |

Sure they will. One empty, solitary piece of paper. Here you are, in front of all the people you think you're going to impress, and you can't produce one single line of aviation experience, short of standing next to airplanes and trying your best to pretend you're the Barney Fife of the flight ramp. All you do is squirm like a wannabe worm and orally excrete all sorts of excuses not do respond. You're such a dip****. ![]() -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

Well, hell, no wonder this putz can't come up with a single solitary example
of aviation experience. He doesn't have any. Not even a student pilot certificate. Looks like his record in the FAA database is limited to exactly this: Medical Class :Second Medical Date:02/1985 LIMITED TO MILITARY CONTROLLER DUTIES. CertIficates 1 of 1 DOI :02/14/1983 Certificate: CONTROL TOWER OPERATOR Limits SCHWAEBISCH HALL AAF, SCHWAEBISCH HALL, GERMANY On top of that, he's limited to ATC at one single, solitary base on the planet. Hmm. I don't even think the base even exists anymore. ![]() -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |
