At worst he will have to spend some time in a loony bin. However any time he's in the loony bin is time he isn't bothering anyone (on the outside...) This also begs the question, it yuan crazy too? Actually I don't think so but at times he exhibits many of the same traits as his hero zoom. In my opinion jaun is an an extreme example of a wannabe just like zoom is. Neither one of them have made any real contribution to aviation and they envy those who did. So they drop names and hang around the edges trying to bask in some of the glory that the true achievers have. jaun can't get an assignment writing for the legitmate avaition press and zoom will take anyone he can get. I notice that no legitimate free lance writers work for zoom or if they do it's not for long. I also see that Kevin "hognose" O'Brien is now gone .I wonder why? Also Idon't hear anything about Rutan or the zero G business anymore from zoom . Is it possible they got wise to his "Phoniness" ? jaun gave up his credibility for zoom and he'll never get it back and his antics here further prove that he's a loser trying to impress . Maybe he fixes computers but so does every high school kid so I'm not impressed. But I also know that jaun doesn't care whether I'm impressed or not so I'm sure he'll have no comment.Basically he's a "YAWN" Chuck S RAH-14/1 ret |

This also begs the question, it yuan crazy too? Tony Zoom is motivated by greed and gloryhounding. It's the greed angle that will trip him up and get him launched into a Federal Penitentiary. The Judge will see right through the Schizo act and beyond that, Jimbo the Rocket Clown has had over thirty years to get effective help and hasn't. Yawn is also driven by personal profit and gloryhounding of his own. Why else would a U.S. Marine sell out Vietnam Veterans by supporting a Poser claiming to be one, even wounded in action, when he never stepped foot "in country." Well, both are liars, and Aesop said: "Birds of a Feather Flock Together." ****birds in particular. Juan is filth...moreso than Campbell. Just the same, flush 'em both down the same toilet. Yellow cowards that they are! Liars that they are. They have no business in Aviation, Journalism, or outside of a Prison loose on a Free Society which they contribute nothing to, but rather, take volumes away from. |

I used to work for one. Even though I knew he hated my guts and tried to get me fired for challenging him in a meeting, when he left the department and came around for goodbyes he turned on the charm and left me thinking "gee, what a nice guy". One hallmark of these people is you can't get them mad by insulting them, because other people are just objects and their opinions mean nothing. The only thing that gets them angry is doing something to get in their way somehow, like obstructing a goal. Then the mask comes off and the rage starts. This guy was famous for exploding at meetings when triggered by some kind of bad news. Cheers John |

Your right zoom can be a charmer you also right in that insulting them really doesn't bother them unless it's as you say getting in the way of a goal.He has no sense of responsibility for any of his actions nor any compassion for those he's harmed. Somewhere there was a posting stating all the medical reasons for what he does but I don't remember where. Merry Christmas Chuck S RAH-14/1 ret |

....snip
One of the guys that used to fly with me on the airline used to skydive with Zoom. And he said he was normal back then, and that was back in either the late seventies or early eighties. But then again, how normal is anyone who skydives :-) ....in the late 70s (1979, to be exact) he was being carted off from Tulsa in a butterfly net by his daddy because he was caught impersonating a doctor (using his grandfather's medical bag, white coat and I.D.) and scheduling his girlfriend for a hysterectomy. here's a few graphs of the Tulsa Tribune article: Tulsa Tribune Jan 4, 1979 Page 1A " Doctor No All 'physician' lacked was a license By STEVE WARD Dashing young Dr. James Campbell had a standing offer with co-workers and neighbors at his apartment complex: Call him if they needed a doctor. They called often. He came to the rescue of a woman having a heart attack, gave first aid to a girl with a bad cut on her forehead, treated an next door neighbor's baby who had a cold and was planning to perform surgery on his girlfriend. Everyone liked Dr. Campbell. He told them he was a man of the world - he was working with the CIA, was a Vietnam veteran, a daredevil who once tried to parachute off the world trade center in New York City and was licensed to fly commercial jets. The only thing wrong was that Dr. Campbell, who practiced in Tulsa for four months, was not a doctor. Campbell was described by his father as being a "schizophrenic" who has tried to convince even his parents that he is a doctor, even though he never has attended medical school, officers said. Yet he functioned in a Tulsa suburb as a doctor, although he apparently never performed surgery, until last week. Everyone who came in contact with him until recent weeks was impressed." now, i don't know what, exactly, you use as a benchmark for normal, but in this case the manifestations of, shall we say, abnormality showed up rather early in life. al |
