El Reno Aviation has a tap to fit wich they rent/loan it to F&M STC filter
buyers. Maybe call them? Kent Felkins "Scott" wrote in message .. . Thanks for the info! I think it probably would be good to get a pitch gauge as well and triple check. Besides, I'm SURE there will be other places I could use the gauge...But it is nice to get that fuzzy feeling from someone else confirming what I see here. Thanks again... I have slightly boogered threads on the engine threads and I want to run a set of dies through (I bought a tool with the dies from McMaster Carr). It looks like 16 TPI is the closest. I machined a plug for remote oil filter. I confirm 16TPI. By |

Thanks for the tip. I bought a tool from McMaster-Carr for repairing
internal threads and it did the trick.... Scott Fly wrote: El Reno Aviation has a tap to fit wich they rent/loan it to F&M STC filter buyers. Maybe call them? Kent Felkins |
