Cessna and Piper do the absolute minimum to keep their airplanes from falling apart in the air. You pay for that in the Beech by the fact that it weighs more. But, it will cost me less to own my Bo than my 182 for those parts that are made by the respective companies, simply because the Bo was built right in the first place. |
