FYI Bio zoom ZZZZZZZZ
In article , Richard Riley says...
This bio says 1100 aircraft, but his usual bio says 1100 types. He "justifies" it by saying that a 1968 Cessna 172 is a different type than an 1969 Cessna 172. Been out of town and the action continues:-) That's what he told me when I questioned his claim of 1100 types. He said The 1982 Hawk is "different" from a 1992 and is a "different" plane . He loves to creat perceptions when the reality is always something different. His claims of being a test pilot ,a HALO jumper et al: might contain a small nugget of truth along with a ton of embellishment to create the perception he is something he is not. (Of course, I don't believe that for a moment either. His Mooney sat on the ramp at Winterhaven with flat tires for more than 2 years.) Wonder how many hours he "logged" in it during that time LOL!! Credibility it was always about credibility. Chuck S RAH-14/1 ret |

Given a lack of type ratings, one might conclude that the claimed flight time does not include pilot/co-pilot time in anything requiring a type rating, such as a 'multi-engine' rating, or a 'seaplane' rating. A reasonable conclusion would be that he was a _passenger_ in those types. Lending credence to the suspicion in the prior paragraph. This bio says 1100 aircraft, but his usual bio says 1100 types. After all, each time he flies it is a different one as it is now 'older'. Heck, it's got different gas in the tank, of course it's a different airplane!!! And he can claim a different one every time he flies as a passenger as it is likely the 757 on this flight is different from the last flight. Harry K |

In fact, I had extensive "control line" experience prior to my actual licensing. Gee I never thought about control line . I flew competition Combat ,Rat Race and Carrier events for about 15 years bet I got an easy 3 - 4 thousand hours I never counted. I still fly indoor free flight started when I was 9 so I bet there's another 3-4 thousand hours. Then there's hand launched gliders ,RC and free flight. I bet I got 12 -13 thousand hours and you should have seen some of the loops rolls and spins I did with some of them. Some had a slight phugoid tendency with a slightly damped yaw harmonic divergence and a delightful pitch positive obedient yaw coupling. I went to the same journalistic schoo; zoom attended. I guess I'm a test pilot as well with hundreds of test flights in new untried designs.LOL!!! Chuck S |

Some of you may remember the exchange a month ago with Zoom and the Rocket Racing league. After commenting on Zoom's Bio, I got the following response from Sandy Davenport, the "Director of Communications" Thank you for your concern and alerting us to possible inaccuracies. We are looking into it and will update the bio if the questionable items cannot be verified. Sandy Davenport, Director of Communications, Rocket Racing League 1120 Commerce Dr. Suite B, Las Cruces, NM 88011 Mailing Address:P O Box 16377, Las Cruces, NM 88004-6377 505-532-1543 Office, 505-639-0728 Cell, 505-532-1643 Fax Well, it's been a month and I haven't heard anything, so I followed up with an email last week, asking if she had completed her investigation. I got no answer. The Bio hasn't changed, and the "Director of Communications" isn't communicating, so I think we have our answer. I guess I have to conclude that honesty isn’t their strong suit.
