Alan You can close your flight plan with anybody and anybody can give you a weather briefing. However, the FSS's closer to where you are (rather than where your cell phone implies) probably understand the local weather and NOTAMS better. I have to use Leesburg to file FRZ plans. |

I thought they were supposed to be fixing that problem.. ship you to the
