One of these days, I'm going to get fed up enough with it that I'll write
my own newsreader... For now, I just put up with what's currently
available... Pan serves most of my needs... Agent is pretty good, but for
my needs, Pan works better...

I think slrn allows you to score on anything (it uses a scoring system,
rather than killfiles). For example, I use scoring so that a thread with
replies to something I've written get highlighted and shown as the first
thread, so scoring cuts both ways.

Most people won't like slrn though, because it doesn't have a pretty GUI
:-)
